Our Story

My name is Nick Olson, and I am the owner of Saw Tooth Woodworking. I grew up in the south metro of the Twin Cities and have dedicated myself to a life of service. I joined the Army in 2003 and served in the 1-502nd Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. I was deployed to South Baghdad, Iraq in 2005. After leaving the Army in 2006, I held various jobs until I found my next calling as a Registered Nurse. Nursing has been a very rewarding profession, allowing me to make a positive impact on my patients when it mattered the most. Throughout the pandemic, I worked as a Med/Surg nurse. Woodworking was a passion I discovered later in life, inspired by my grandfather who was also a woodworker. My life experiences have shaped how I approach woodworking, emphasizing attention to detail, effective communication with customers, and striving to exceed expectations with the products I create.
